About IAP PG Clinic – Jaipur Chapter

The IAP PG Clinic is a flagship academic initiative of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Jaipur Branch, launched under the visionary leadership of Dr. Atul Shanker (President, IAP Jaipur), along with Dr. Dhananjay Mangal (President Elect), Dr. Mohit Vohra (Hon. Secretary), and Dr. Neha Agarwal (Treasurer).

Conducted every 3rd Wednesday of the month, this program provides a structured and interactive academic forum where postgraduate trainees from various medical institutes of Jaipur present interesting and challenging clinical cases. Each session is thoughtfully organized with a Chairperson, a Moderator, and two Subject Experts, ensuring that every discussion is guided by rich clinical experience and evidence-based insights.

The primary objective of the IAP PG Clinic is to enhance academic and clinical competencies among pediatric postgraduates by offering them a dynamic platform to present their work, analyze cases critically, and interact with senior faculty members. It not only builds confidence and presentation skills but also encourages analytical thinking and evidence-based clinical decision-making.

Importantly, these sessions have also proven to be highly beneficial for practicing clinicians. Experienced pediatricians actively participate, sharing their practical knowledge, real-world experiences, and clinical wisdom with the young generation. This two-way interaction creates a mutually enriching learning environment — where postgraduates gain from seasoned practitioners, and clinicians, in turn, stay updated with current advances, fresh perspectives, and academic discussions.
